ABOUT WMVI The Vibration Institute is a not-for-profit organization for the dissemination of practical information on evaluating machinery behavior. The Vibration Institute was an outgrowth of small symposium held in 1967 and was then founded in 1972. It is the only nationally recognized organization dedicated to the exchange of information about vibration, primarily dealing with predictive maintenance of rotating equipment and an organization for the dissemination of practical information on evaluating machinery behavior and condition.
